Thanzi la Onse is dedicated to improving the efficiency and equity of health care resource allocation processes, to support national policymakers in utilising their limited resources to achieve the best possible benefits for citizens. Better access to health care services will contribute towards improved overall health among populations in Malawi, Uganda and elsewhere in Southern and East Africa.
Realising the impact of the research and capability building activities are major cross-cutting themes within Thanzi La Onse and careful consideration has gone into ensuring that the Programme’s beneficiaries are engaged from its inception to its conclusion. The Thanzi La Onse team continues to build upon strong existing links in Malawi, Uganda and with the global international development community, to devise core channels of knowledge exchange and engagement with stakeholders in Sub-Saharan Africa.
