All Thanzi la Onse research activities are conducted under three Research Themes, which correspond with Thanzi la Onse’s core topic areas:
Research Themes comprise two or more projects which represent key areas of research interest to the Thanzi la Onse Programme. Research themes contribute to achieving Thanzi la Onse’s main objective: improving the health of all through better-informed health resource allocation decisions. Two senior researchers lead each Research Theme and oversee a team of researchers who conduct the Research Theme’s activities. Owing to the interdisciplinary and collaborative nature of the Thanzi la Onse Programme, researchers are encouraged to work across work-packages and Research Themes wherever possible.
