We are thrilled to launch our redesigned website, featuring our new logo and a refreshed look and feel. This exciting change reflects our transition from the foundational Thanzi la Onse project to the Thanzi Programme – an international collective of multiple projects, with collaborators and partners across East, Central, Southern and West Africa, UK, Europe, United Arab Emirates, and USA.
Our goal was to also give the website a cleaner look and make it easier to navigate. We invite you to explore our new pages, but here we share three highlights of the new look website:
- A new logo: Whilst representing our growth from project to programme, the new Thanzi logo remains rooted in African traditions and the colours of the Thanzi la Onse logo, reflecting the strength and history of Thanzi’s research and partnerships. The design process included surveying colleagues across the Thanzi Programme, helping to ensure that the end result was a logo that accurately represents the Thanzi Programme and its grounding in Africa.
- Thanzi 3 Pillars: Our work remains focussed on improving population health in low- and middle-income countries, now guided by three Pillars of Activity: 1. Research Evidence Generation; 2. Research and Policy Engagement; and 3. Capability Strengthening.
- Research Findings: We have redeveloped our resources to make it easier to find what you want in our Published Work, with the ability to sort, search, and apply filters. What has not changed is that our publications remain open access, ensuring Thanzi research findings are freely available to researchers, policymakers, and the public, to share knowledge widely and support our pathway to impact.
Explore the new website and find out more about the Thanzi Programme.
With thanks to NiftyFox for the branding, and to Nick Clemishaw for the website redevelopment.
