We are delighted to launch the website for the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) funded research programme: Thanzi la Onse (Health of All): Frameworks and analysis to ensure value for money health care – developing theory, changing practice.
Thanzi la Onse’s core objective is to improve population health and reduce health inequality in Malawi, Uganda and Southern and East Africa region. The programme brings together world-leading experts in health economics, epidemiological modelling and political science to undertake innovative and locally-grounded research into how to achieve this ambitious goal.
Supporting the strengthening of capability in health economics and related fields across Southern and East Africa is a key aspect of Thanzi la Onse’s efforts. The programme is partnering with leading regional training partners to improve access to training in economic analysis methods and evidence-based decision making across Southern and East Africa.
